Professor at the Institute of Marine and Limnological Sciences in the Faculty of Sciences at the University Austral of Chile.

Dr. Pardo is a Marine Biologist from the Universidad Católica del Norte. He received his Doctorate in Biology from Université Laval in Canada. Dr. Pardo specializes in matters related to the benthic marine ecology, biological diversity, crustaceans, and fisheries management. He has directed diverse projects throughout his career.
