Kurt Paschke La Manna
Professor at the Aquaculture Institute from the University Austral of Chile. Marine Biologist from the University Austral of Chile and earned his PhD in Natural Sciences at the University of Hamburg, Germany.
Dr. Paschke studies the culturing and reproduction of crustaceans and the physiology of marine invertebrates. His line of research is centered on understanding the effects of environmental factors such as temperature, salinity, and – more recently – the availability of oxygen on the physiology of aquatic invertebrates, especially in the early stages of development.
