Social communications graduate and journalist from the Diego Portales University (UDP) with more than ten years of experience in science communication. She has published articles in diverse media, such as newspapers, websites and magazines of national and international circulation.
Diploma in Antarctic affairs and has specialized in the dissemination and divulgation of scientific topics, generating content for different audiences on multiple platforms. She was one of the winners of the first contest to cover the Chilean Antarctic Scientific Expedition in the field. Throughout her career, she has directed and participated in multidisciplinary projects linked to the scientific/cultural heritage of Patagonia and Antarctica.
At the IDEAL Center, she has worked on the design and implementation of communication strategies and press management to position research on sub-Antarctic and Antarctic marine ecosystems in public opinion. She is the author of “El Gran Libro del Cambio Climático” published by Penguin Random House and editor of “¿Sabías que…? De Magallanes a la Antártica” and “Desde Tierra del Fuego”. Currently, she is pursuing a master’s degree in Editing at the UDP.
