Task Force
The Task Force is an interdisciplinary group of researchers from the different IDEAL Center work teams who have come together with the mission of addressing interdisciplinary research questions oriented to socio-ecological problems in the Magallanes and Antarctica Regions and providing tools to help decision-making of local actors.
This group has proposed to address two issues of regional importance: to study the incidence of red tide and its effects on the social system and to carry out an evaluation of the socio-ecological sensitivity of the coastal marine system in southern Chile to salmon farming. For this, each problem will be addressed through the collection, systematization and analysis of data using synthesis tools, case analysis and mathematical modeling, among others.

From our database you can access different scientific publications of this and other research groups of the IDEAL Center.
